Our Doctor
Dr. Yoon, DMD, MS
Dr. Yoon is a certified periodontist and dental implant specialist with advanced training in periodontal therapy, implant surgery, and full-mouth reconstruction. He completed a three-year residency in Periodontics and Implantology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he was the only resident to also earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Periodontology. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the Medical College of Georgia.
A respected leader in periodontology and implant dentistry, Dr. Yoon has published research in top journals such as the Journal of Periodontology, International Endodontic Journal, and Biomaterials. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Augusta University, teaching advanced implant and periodontal techniques to post-doctoral residents.
Dr. Yoon is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care using the latest evidence-based techniques. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys hiking, working out, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
